Visit of Her Excellency Mrs Sahle-Work Zewde, President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia accompanied by H.E. Mrs Dagmawit Moges, Minister of Transport of Ethiopia

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E. Mrs Sahle-Work Zewde, accompanied by a high diplomatic delegation from Djibouti and Ethiopia. This delegation is composed of diplomats from Djibouti and Ethiopia such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti H.E. Mr. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, the Minister of Transport H.E. Mr. Moussa Mohamed Ahmed, the Chairman of the Port Authority Mr. Aboubaker Omar Hadi, the Minister of Transport of Ethiopia H.E. Mrs. Sahle-Work Zewde, the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia H.E. Mrs. Sahle-Work Zewde and a high diplomatic delegation from Djibouti and Ethiopia. E Mrs. Dagmawit Moges and H.E. Mr. Mohamed Idriss, Ambassador of Djibouti to Ethiopia. The CEO had the honour of welcoming them and presenting all the facilities of the Terminal, the real economic lung of the country.

The SGTD Doraleh Terminal achieved a historic milestone in October 2024 by surpassing 1 million TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) in just 10 months, marking the first time in its history.
