On January 22, 2024 we had the official inauguration of four new “Malaccamax” STS to handle the new generation of Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCV) and the extension of the stacking area by the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr Ismail Omar Guelleh, alongside the Prime Minister, the Minister of Infrastructure and Equipment, the Chairman of DPFZA and our entire Management team.

We were honored to welcome government representatives, partners and our valued customers from Ethiopia and around the world. This remarkable achievement is the result of the unwavering support of the country’s highest authorities and DPZFA, whose collaboration was crucial to this success. With our enhanced capabilities, we are now fully prepared to efficiently handle larger vessels carrying up to 23,000 TEU, reinforcing Djibouti’s position as a leading regional hub for maritime trade, offering a unique presence at the heart of global container traffic with good maritime connectivity!
